LA To Detroit Dance Intensive Spotlight is a dance intensive that highlights one choreographer! Bringing you the opportunity to experience the choreographer in a closed dance setting, along with auditioning to be apart of a dance visual showcasing the choreographer's dances.

SPOTLIGHT CHOREOGRAPHER: Jarell Gordy

Jarell Gordy has been a professional dancer and instructor for over 25 years. During that time, he has danced and choreographed for The Detroit Pistons in which he was given the opportunity to choreograph for numerous artists in the music industry. He has an independent dance company called“DancersforGordy” that consists of dancers from all levels of dance. He became an adjunct professor of dance at Wayne State University for 2 years, taught at various dance studios including Deborah’s Stage Door, The Dance Place ltd and Lashelle’s School of Dance. Lastly he has traveled overseas living in China for 6 years as a dancer, choreographer and Director for Dr. Oscar, one of the biggest nightclubs in China! Outside of dance, he has also modeled for the clothing brand Fear of God.

7:45PM-8:00PM Break

8:00PM-9:00PM Heels Dance Class (Male Dancer Modified Verson will be instructed)

9:00PM-9:30PM Break

9:30PM-10:00PM Audition

10:00AM-1:00PM Dance Visual Film Day
