LA To Detroit Dance Intensive Spotlight is a dance intensive that highlights only one choreographer! Bringing you the opportunity to experience the choreographer in a closed dance setting.

SPOTLIGHT CHOREOGRAPHER: Charles Smith Jr. (King Chuck)

     Charles has worked with several of the top NBA/NFL pro dance teams for over a decade; such as Brooklynettes, Chicago Luva Bulls, Atl Hawks Dancers, Wizards Dancers, Suns Dancers, 76ersent, Topcats, and many others teams. Due to his extensive choreography experience, Charles had the opportunity to train and choose the finalists in the Brooklynettes and the Atlanta Falcons auditions. Many teams request to work with him due to his easygoing personality, but he brings grit and swag with his choreography. Charles has gone viral a few times, including his infamous Beyonce’s "Before I Let Go" challenge choreography. Beyonce herself shared, and it landed Charles in Dance Spirit magazine, BET, Vibe, and Entertainment Tonight. Aside from Charles's pro dance choreography, he has worked with Grammy Award winning artists, including Ice Spice, Lizzo, Janet Jackson, Babyface, Jidenna, T-Pain and Fatman Scoop, to name a few. Currently, he is also the Creative Director and Choreographer for 90’s dance icon CeCe Penistion.
